To download the email received on Gmail using theweb interface of the service, first connect to the home page of the service and log in to your account (if necessary). Next, locate the message that you intend to download to your PC, by looking for it in the Incoming mail or at least in folder of your interest that you can select from the side menu, then click on it to open it.

Even if you use Thunderbird, Mozilla’s home email client, you can download emails on your computer to your computer. To do this, launch the program, locate the message that you intend to save in the folder dedicated to incoming mail or in another position which you can select through the side menu and right-click on it, after which select the item Save as from the context menu that is shown to you.

Firstly, launch the program, on your computer, after that locate thee-mail that you intend to save locally from the section dedicated to incoming mail or from another eventual folder accessible via the side menu (if it is not visible, you can enable it from the menu View) and select it.
