For this reason, you are looking for a way to speed up access to the service: more in detail, you would love to know how to put gmail on desktop and thus have the possibility of accessing them with a simple double click. How to put Gmail icon on desktop

If you want to add a shortcut to Gmail on your PC desktop and you use the browser Google Chromeconnected to Gmail through the latter.
Now, press the ⋮ icon located at the top right and, in the menu that opens, click on the items More Tools > Create Shortcut. Now, in the top section of the browser, indicate the first name that you want to attribute to the quick launch icon to be created on the desktop (for example “Gmail”) and click the button Create.

First, launch Microsoft Edge and access your Gmail box through it. Now you have two possible ways to go: if you want to use Edge’s built-in feature to create a quick link to a site (in this case Gmail) on the taskbar, click on the icon (…) located at the top right and, in the box that appears, select the items More tools > Pin to taskbar. In the section above, type the name to assign to the icon (for example Gmail) and press the button addto complete the operation.
Alternatively, you can create a Gmail login icon directly on your desktop by doing this: Click on thepadlock icon located on the left in the address bar, hold and drag the mouse pointer on the desktop, then release the pressure.
By doing so, a quick launch icon will be generated on the desktop, which will allow you to quickly access your Gmail mailbox. Convenient, right?
If you use MozillaFirefox As a browser for browsing the Internet, I’m sorry to tell you that, unlike the other software examined so far, you can’t count on a feature that allows you to create quick launch icons for web pages.
However, you can still create a Gmail icon on your desktop by dragging the site’s URL out of your browser’s address bar and placing it on your desktop.
Therefore, after starting firefoxconnect to Gmail via it, click and hold the left mouse button on thepadlock icon present in the address bar and drag the mouse pointer on the desktop, then release the pressure.
For one reason or another, you still use the old browser Internet Explorer of Microsoft and, therefore, would you like to know how to put the Gmail icon on the desktop through the latter? No problem.
First, connect to your Gmail account from the browser in question, then press the button Alt on the keyboard to bring up the top menu bar and select items File > Send from the latter.
Finally, choose the option Desktop shortcut and a Gmail quick launch icon will be created on your desktop, which will take you to the main screen of Google’s Webmail service.
If you use a Mac and you used to browse the internet with the built-in web browser, Safariyou may very well create an icon for it to be placed on Desk.
Connect, therefore, to Gmail using Safari, highlight the URL in the address bar and drag it out of the Safari screen, placing it in an empty area of the Desktop.
If you don’t succeed in this operation, you can also click on the small one Gmail icon present on the left, in the address bar, and drag the latter to the macOS Desktop.
This will create an icon on your Desktop that will give you quick access to Google Webmail. I’d say it was easier than you expected, right?
How to put Gmail icon on Home screen

If you use a iPhones or a iPads and you want to put the Gmail Webmail quick access icon, you can use the appropriate function integrated in Safari. To do this, launch Safari and use it to access your Gmail account.
Once this is done, press the share button placed at the bottom (the square with the arrow inside) and, in the new box that is shown to you, scroll through the different items, until you find and press the one called Add to Home screen.
Well, we’re almost there! In the section to which you are directed, enter a name to assign to the icon or leave the one already indicated and then confirm the whole operation by pressing the button add, which you find above. The new icon will now be available on the iOS/iPadOS home screen to allow you access to Google Webmail.
