All you need to do for set up gmail auto reply is to access your mailbox settings and enable the automatic responder, choosing whether to activate it for all incoming emails or only those sent by your contacts.
To proceed, connect to the main Gmail page and, if you haven’t already done so, log in with your Google account, as I explained to you in my guide on how to access Gmail mail.
After that, click on the icon gear wheeltop right, and select the option View all settings from the opened menu. In the new screen that appears, make sure the tab is selected generals and locate the section Automatic answerer.
At this point, place a check mark next to the item Turn on auto responder and, in the field First day, specify the date you want to start sending automatic replies. If you like, you can also turn on the auto-reply off date by placing a check next to the option Last day and specifying the deactivation date in the appropriate field, bearing in mind however that the automatic responder can be deactivated manually at any time.
Now, specify the subject of the auto-reply email and the message to send in the fields Object (if you want the subject to be the same as the email received, don’t enter anything) e Message and, if you want to turn on auto-reply only for your contacts, put a check mark next to the option Only reply to people in my Contacts. Then click on the button Save Changes And that’s it.
From the date indicated above, an automatic reply email will be sent to all incoming messages or only those from your contacts. Please note that if a contact sends you several messages, the automatic reply will only be sent once every 4 days.

Then press the button endat the top right, to save the changes and activate the Gmail automatic responder.
Finally, I would like to point out that to manually disable Gmail’s automatic reply you need to log in again Settings of the app, select your account and press on the item Automatic answerer. Then move the lever relating to the option Automatic answerer from ON to OFF and tap the button end.
How to set up Gmail auto reply iPhone

The procedure for set up gmail auto reply on iphone (And iPads) is almost identical to what I just told you to do it from an Android device.
Also in this case, after starting Gmail and logging in with your account, press the ☰ button, top left, and select the item Settings. In the new screen that appears, in the section Write and answertap the option Automatic answerer and, first, move the voice lever Automatic answerer from OFF to ON.
At this point, if you want to program the activation of the automatic reply function, tap on the item Today and select the activation date you want from the opened menu. Pressing, instead, on the option Lastyou can select the item Customize and choose the deactivation date or press on the option None and manually deactivate the automatic responder when you deem it appropriate.
Whichever choice you make, enter theobject and the message of the email to be sent as an automatic reply and, if you wish to automatically reply only to your contacts, move the lever relating to the option Send only to my contacts from OFF to ON. Finally, tap the button Savetop right, and you’re done.
If you change your mind, even if you have set a deactivation date, you can disable the automatic responder by accessing the Settings of Gmail, by selecting the option Automatic answererby moving the relative lever from ON to OFF and pressing the button Save.
Gmail Auto Reply: Not working
