If you’ve downloaded the Gmail app and signed in with your Google account, all you need to do to sign out of Gmail on iPhone is to access the section to manage your account and select the option to disconnect it from your “iPhone by”.
To proceed, therefore, start the Gmail app, tap on photo (or on the initial letter of your name if you have not customized your Google account) located at the top right and, on the new screen that appears, select the option Manage accounts on this device.
At this point, in the section Manage accountsmove the switch for the account you want to unlink from ON to OFF and press on the option endtop left, to sign out of Gmail without removing the Google account in question from your iPhone.
By doing so, you will be able to access your Gmail mail again without entering the credentials associated with your account. In fact, all you have to do is start Gmail, press the button Log in and, after making sure that the switch for your account is set to ONtap the option endto access your mailbox.
If, on the other hand, you want to exit Gmail and permanently disconnect your Google account, access the section Manage accountsselect the option Remove from this device relating to the account to be disconnected and, in the new screen that appears, press the button Remove.
